The owner has agreed to make some changes to the hardware and furniture store located in Surry Va.  We are now offering rental spaces to different types of businesses that will hopefully fill up most of the hardware and furniture store space.  By doing so we feel it will help market this location for sale as well as helping out the surrounding area.  We have already leased one large space for conducting live and onlines auctions of all types.  We are in the process of obtaining a hunting and fishing supply store as well.  We hope to fill up with another 12 to 14 small businesses in just the furniture store side of the building within two months.  We are also investigating additional businesses for the hardware side of the building hoping that this building and corner will come back to life for the town of Surry.

 On June 1st we will conduct a Live Auction, on location, for this very nice multi use one story building with warehouse space and loading docks sitting on the corner of Oakwood Dr. and Rolfe Hwy. right in the center of the town of Surry Virginia.  The building once housed a hardware store and a furniture store with separate entrences and parking.  The building should be divided into several separate businesses by auction date.  The building is on county water and sewage with central HVAC.  There are two rest rooms and ofice spaces for each section as well as storage and or work areas besides the warehouse.

The building is centrally located between Richmond, Williamsburg, and the Tidewater areas.  Rt. 10 and Rolfe Hwy. are the main roads into the City of Surry.  There is also the Jamestown ferry within a few miles from the building that creates a high traffic count during the day.  There is a stop light right at the corner of the property for easy entry and exiting the property.  The courthouse and other businesses are centered right around this area as well.
