Jim has a nearly four decades of extensive experience in the machinery and manufacturing business including capital equipment valuations and liquidation of capital assets. Jim started Precision Machinery and later started Smith Machinery, which he still successfully operates today. Additional companies under Jim’s ownership and control include Precision Rigging and Precision Finishing. Jim is a senior member of SME, a member of the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA), a member of the Association of Machinery & Equipment Appraisers (AMEA), and has completed the Rockford Press Safety program.
